My dear students, Our next classes are scheduled on 24th, 26th and 28th Nov. Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9 to 1. From Wednesday on wards, you will be presenting your allotted topics. Each day 4 students can present topics. Others will also be asked to commend on the presentation. So all should go through the main points of all the topics. On wednesday, we have 4 topics : 1) Teaching and Learning -Principles and Theories 2) Competency based and Outcome based Education 3) Instructional Strategies - Lecture 4) Discussion. On friday, other 4 topics : 5) Demonstration 6) Simulation 7) Laboratory Method 8) Seminar. Study the topics well, prepare power point presentation, and notes. For all topics, the structure may be like this: Introduction, Explanation of the topic, diagrams (images), Principles or Uses, Advantages, Limitations, Suggestions and References.

My First Class and Your First Experience
My dear students, Hope you have enjoyed our first class. What is your first experience? If you have real interest and proper attitude towards Nursing Profession, you will definitely begin to enjoy all the practical works and assignments. Our next class will be most probably on 24th or 26th November. We will be dealing with the various aspects of 'Teaching'. In the mean time, you may prepare the assignment entrusted to you. Hearty Welcome to my dear students
My dear Students, My hearty welcome to you all to this noble professional course of being a Nursing Educator. Feel that you are blessed for having got an admission to this course. Start working systematically. Be pleasant. Don't be panic or depressed. Refer my blog regularly. I'll be leading seminar sessions for you in the area 'Nursing Education'. On 12th November 2014, we will be having our first class from 9 am to 1 pm. My topic is 'Teaching and Learning in Nursing'. I am eagerly waiting for our meeting. I wish you all the best.
